After several years working as an illustrator and graphic designer, she left her advertising career to become a Fine Art painter. She has received numerous awards from juried shows and art competitions and her artwork has appeared in The Artist's Magazine. "Light is the strongest element and the main subject of my paintings. It is the way the light flows trough a scene and highlights certain parts that usually inspire me to paint. My work consists of figures and urban landscapes. I spot my subjects in the ordinary and everyday life. I am often fascinated by things that would go unnoticed by most people. I paint the things that move me and I love using the light to transform something ordinary into something extraordinary. I seek solitary figures and people engaged in their daily habits. In many cases, I act as a voyeur, spying on situations I encounter in the street, in train stations, in cafes…I like capturing a moment in strangers' lives."
