When you register at TradeAway a special folder will be created for you to easily upload photos. If you are having problems with this photo process, there could be a number of reasons:
What type of image file are you uploading? There are several different ways to save photos from your computer. Unfortunately, not all of them can be seen on different computers. The most universal way to save your photos is in the .gif (GIFF) or .jpg (JPEG) format.
Note:
- Avoid using Spaces in the Image name.
What is the size of the photo you are uploading? Since TradeAway is allowing a special folder for each of our users, you can imagine how much space this could take up without restrictions! If your photo is over 200k (which would be very large disk space), it will not upload. To decrease your file size, you may try to decrease the actual picture size (pixels or inches), take your resolution down to 72 DPI, or automatically condense it by saving it as a .gif image. If you continue to have problems, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.
